When you meet someone you form an overall impression of that person within seconds. But what do we look at first? Do you look at faces or feet? Yep, you guessed it we interact with faces! But, how much time and effort do you put into your glasses compared to your shoes?
So when we meet someone, especially for the first time, we will take them all in and form our opinions within seconds - we all know how important first impressions are, and they are rooted in science.
This is why I want to get you thinking about your glasses. I've said it before and I'll say it again but your glasses say so much about you! In an ideal world we would all have multiple pairs of glasses for the different things we do - we'd have different colours and styles to match different outfits just like we have different shoes for different things or outfits.
Just a little something to think about, we look at faces not feet. So many people will buy shoes that make us feel good and neglect the thing that sits right in the middle of our face!
Lets look at glasses (terrible pun!) as fashion and part of our overall look, not just something we have to wear to see.
